1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and LocalDesk ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the app.localdesk.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the "Site" and "Service").
By accessing the Site or Service, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and Service and you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Use of the Service
LocalDesk provides software tools specifically for local businesses (such as pawn shops) to manage their online presence, bookings, and SEO content.
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password.
Prohibited Activities: You may not access or use the Service for any purpose other than that for which we make the Service available. As a user of the Service, you agree not to:
- Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Service to create or compile a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service.
- Engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to the Service.
- Trick, defraud, or mislead us and other users, especially in any attempt to learn sensitive account information such as user passwords.
- Make improper use of our support services or submit false reports of abuse or misconduct.
- Engage in any automated use of the system, such as using scripts to send comments or messages, or using any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
3. AI Content Generation
The Service utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to generate draft content (e.g., blog posts) for your business. While we strive to provide high-quality, relevant content:
- Approval Required: You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it is published on your behalf or on your platforms.
- Accuracy: The Company does not guarantee the factual accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of the AI-generated drafts. It is your responsibility to verify any claims made in the content (e.g., loan rates, evaluations).
- Ownership: Upon your approval and payment of any applicable fees, you retain ownership of the final published content. The Company retains rights to the underlying models and templates.
4. Subscription & Billing
LocalDesk is offered on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle").
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account settings. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and Service are our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6. Modifications and Interruptions
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site or Service at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site/Service.
7. Governing Law
